Occupation forces storm prisoner Ahmed Saadat's home
The Popular Front condemns the incursion and confirms that it will not remain silent in the face of these arbitrary measures.
The Israeli occupation forces raided and searched at dawn today the house of the captive Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Ahmed Saadat, in the city of Ramallah.
The Secretary-General's wife, Abla Saadat, said, "A large number of the occupation army stormed our house in Ramallah at dawn today, photographed the house, assaulted and sabotaged some properties and personal papers."
She added that the intrusion coincided with heavy gunfire, and confrontations erupted with the occupation forces in the vicinity of the house, stressing that this intrusion aimed at tightening the grip of the occupation and taking away the local Al-Quds' identity from the Palestinians.
Abla also stressed that "the occupation aims to disperse Palestinian families who hold the Al-Quds' identities with these intrusions and intimidations," adding that "All these measures will not deter us from steadfastness in the face of this occupation."
The PFLP stated, "We will not be silent about the occupation's attempts to persist in its aggression."
Popular Front condemns incrusions
In turn, the PFLP condemned this incursion, stressing that it will not affect Ahmad Saadat's determination, solid will, and his steadfast family's continuous struggle against the occupation.
It confirmed that the occupation army's actions against its Secretary-General, which did not stop even inside prison, are not different from its actions against the Palestinians and their national symbols.
The Popular Front stressed that it "will not stay silent in the face of the occupation's attempts to persist in its aggression against its Secretary-General, its comrades, and all the people."
It is noteworthy that prisoner Saadat was kidnapped in 2006 from the US- and UK-monitored Jericho prison after it was demolished by the occupation forces, and was sentenced to 30 years in Israeli prison, after being accused of organizing the assassination of Israeli Minister Rehavam Ze'evi.
It is worth mentioning that Saadat is a Palestinian politician and Secretary-General of the PFLP. He was chosen as Secretary-General after the assassination of its former Secretary-General Abu Ali Mustafa by the occupation forces with two missiles that targeted his office in the city of Ramallah.
