Omar Abu al-Nil: Yet Another Palestinian Child Martyr...
The 12-year-old succumbed to his injuries after he was shot by an Israeli sniper last Saturday in Gaza.
12-year-old Palestinian child Omar Hassan Abu al-Nil died after succumbing to injuries he sustained at the Gaza Strip border last week.
Abu al-Nil, a child resident of al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, was critically wounded after being shot by an Israeli sniper in the al-Ras area during his participation in a march against the Israeli siege on Gaza, last Saturday.
The child's martyrdom comes only days after the occupation fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at Palestinian protestors peacefully chanting "Seif al-Quds will not be sheathed."
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourned the 12-year-old martyr, decrying the silence of International and Human rights institutions in face of the cumulating Israeli crimes against children, citing the massacres of Ain al-Baqar School, Sabra, Shatila, Jenin, and Gaza as clear examples of the Zionist “state’s” inhuman acts of terror.

In turn, the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" mourned the martyred child Omar Hassan Abu al-Nil, asserting that "The overwhelming state of Palestinian anger everywhere in Palestine against the Zionist occupation, confirms that our people will not accept siege, aggression, or settlement."
Furthermore, Palestinian factions stressed the importance of the Palestinian people’s unity and resistance in the face of the occupation’s escalating crimes, all while denouncing the International Community’s silence regarding “Israel’s” war crimes against civilians and its siege on Gaza.
Omar Hassan Abu al-Nil, the 12-year-old martyr, is another victim of not only Israeli crimes, but the International Community’s deafening silence on the endless illegal trespasses the Zionist apartheid “state” has been committing since its colonial formation in 1948.
