One Israeli settler killed in Jordan Valley, West Bank, shooting
"Israel's" Magen David Adom ambulance service said a settler, who was critically wounded in the shooting operation, was killed and another was injured.
The Israeli occupation military confirmed on Sunday that armed individuals opened fire on several vehicles near the Mehola settlement in the Jordan Valley region, northeastern West Bank.
The military stated that it has deployed forces to pursue the shooters, adding that extensive search operations are ongoing in the area.
"Israel's" Magen David Adom ambulance service said that a settler, who was critically wounded in the shooting operation, was killed and another was injured.
Israeli media revealed that the shooting occurred at two locations: the first near the Rotem settlement and the second on the Route 90 highway near Mehola.
Later on Sunday, Hamas' military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, said that its fighters in the West Bank successfully eliminated an Israeli soldier from point-blank range in the Mehola settlement and safely withdrew.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the occupied West Bank reported that occupation forces blocked the Tayasir and Hamra checkpoints in the Jordan Valley following the operation, in an attempt to pursue the shooters.
Our correspondent also noted that the occupation forces raided the villages of Kardala and Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.

The operation comes one week after two Israeli settlers were killed and three others were injured in a stabbing operation on Moshe Dayan Street in the Holon area, south of Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Army radio mentioned that the shooter carried out the operation at three different locations, with a distance of 500 meters between the attack sites.
It added that the shooter was not confronted by anyone until an Israeli police officer arrived late and shot him.
Also in the occupied West Bank, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Nablus announced in a statement that its fighters targeted the Israeli occupation forces raiding the al-Ain refugee camp from multiple directions with a heavy barrage of gunfire.
The Brigades said its fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with the occupation forces and targeted an Israeli Namer armored personnel carrier (APC) with an improvised explosive device (IED), rendering it inoperable.
"From the West Bank to Gaza, our explosives are burning your vehicles," the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades stated following the operation.
