One Palestinian martyred after runover operation in Tulkarm

A Palestinian youth was shot dead, at dawn today, Monday, by the Israeli occupation forces, after an alleged runover operation.

The Palestinian Muhammad Nidal Younes was martyred, at dawn today, Monday, after he was shot by the Israeli occupation, following a runover operation at the Jbara checkpoint, west of the city of Tulkarm, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Israeli media stated that one security personnel was seriously injured and that he was transferred to the "Tel Hashomer” Hospital for treatment. The Israeli occupation also reported that his injuries are concentrated in the limbs, chest, and head, but his condition is stable.

According to Israeli media, the Palestinian who reportedly carried out the rundown operation was in a Kia car with a Palestinian number plate, and at some point, he rammed the checkpoint, running over the Israeli security personnel at the checkpoint.

The Israeli occupation forces brought in security reinforcements to the area and began search operations, checking the identities of cars and passengers.

Two days ago, Al Mayadeen correspondent in occupied al-Quds reported that a young Palestinian was martyred after he was shot dead in cold blood by the Israeli occupation near Bab al-Amoud (Damascus Gate) under the pretext of carrying out a stabbing attack.

Our correspondent said the Palestinians in the area were repressed following the young Palestinian man’s execution.
