Almost 40% of students at Russell Group universities view Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as an "understandable act of resistance."
A poll by Stand With Us UK said that the findings come amid an alleged rise in anti-Semitism (conflated with anti-"Israel" sentiment), with efforts to portray all support for Palestine as support for 'terrorism' or a form of 'anti-Semitism.'
The allegations become credible given the significant fact that Stand With Us UK is a pro-"Israel" organization with educational international charity status, and was established to counter the Boycott Divest Sanctions movement. The charity has also been reportedly accused of sharing misinformation.

The survey, shared exclusively with the Daily Mail, polled over 1,000 students across 20 British campuses and found that 29% of students believe Operation Al Aqsa Flood was an 'understandable' act of 'resistance.'
Among students at Russell Group universities, often regarded as the best and brightest, this figure rose to 38%.

According to protester Rahma Mohammed, the assaults on protesters in New York are a clear violation of both the law and human rights.
Mohammed added that the demonstrations at US universities are a protest against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
