Eighty percent of respondents in the Democratic and Republican parties reported a distrust of the opposing party, considering it to be "a clear and present danger to American democracy."
The majority of Trump supporters expressed that society should stop radical and immoral people who according to them, are attempting to destroy the country, emphasizing the need to have a "powerful leader in order to destroy the radical and immoral currents" prevalent in society.
The poll's findings reflect the intensity of the ongoing ideological war in the US, as well as the extent of disaccord between the two parties.
