PA MFA condemns forced evacuation of Al-Shifa hospital
Today, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) forced hundreds of individuals to evacuate Al Shifa Medical Complex, compelling them to walk to the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian-based news agency WAFA reported on Saturday that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the forced evacuation of wounded patients, staffers, and displaced persons in Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza.
"The evacuation of Al-Shifa Medical Hospital represents an official Israeli insistence on completing the episodes of execution and genocide against any Palestinian presence in Gaza City and the northern Strip," the Ministry said in a tweet.
"This deepens the humanitarian and environmental catastrophe facing the Strip. It is also a literal translation of the calls of extremist Israeli zealots who incite and demand the burning of Gaza, as they previously called for and practiced in the burning of Huwara," it added.

Earlier today, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza confirmed that forced evacuations have begun, while a large number of wounded people and 5 doctors will remain in the hospital, knowing that the medical teams have no nowhere to go and are indispensable.
Our correspondent reported that the scenes inside and outside the hospital are unprecedented and horrifying, shedding light on another crisis represented by the challenges of evacuating the wounded due to the severity of their conditions and with no alternative hospitals or safe shelters to head to.
He further noted that the hospital does not have any ambulances to transport the patients and premature babies to the southern part of Gaza, adding that many patients were rushingly placed on wheelchairs or rolling beds.
An AFP journalist at the scene reported that the IOF warned the medical staff and patients over loudspeakers to "evacuate the within an hour."
Palestinian presidency urges US to halt genocide
On a similar note, the Palestinian Presidency announced that it renewed its demands for the US to fulfill its responsibilities and intervene to halt "Israel's" genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Expressing astonishment at the continued obstruction by the US administration of international efforts to halt Israeli aggression, the Palestinian presidency warned that such a war would be of no benefit to any parties involved.
"Despite the ongoing daily bloody aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, accompanied by the evacuation and destruction of Gaza’s hospitals, we are astonished that the American administration is still obstructing international efforts to stop the Israeli aggression," said the official spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh.

"We renew our demand for the American administration to assume its responsibilities and stop the genocide against the Palestinian people, which claimed the lives of thousands of martyrs and wounded, and to stop the massacres and war crimes that the Israeli occupation insists on committing in full view of the world in gross violation of international law and international humanitarian law," he said.
Abu Rudeineh emphasized that "Israel" and the US administration have no alternative but to cease the aggression and put an end to the occupation. He stated that the intense campaign across all Palestinian territories, with the objective of sowing chaos and pulling the region into perpetual conflicts, will have destructive consequences for everyone involved, with no one emerging unscathed.
"Once again we warn that this aggression will not bring peace and security to anyone, but rather will create a situation that will be impossible to contain in the entire region. Military and security solutions have proven their failure, and the only solution is to end the occupation and recognize the right of the Palestinian people to freedom and independence in accordance with international legitimacy and international law," the official added.
