Pagers explosion will not return settlers to North: Israeli media
The Lebanese Resistance's leadership is aware of Israeli responsibility for Tuesday's attack, and failing to claim it will not prevent a likely response from Hezbollah, leading to a prolonged state of alert, according to Israeli media.
Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported that while "Israel" did not claim responsibility for Tuesday's terrorist attack involving the explosion of communication devices (pager), this operation will not return northern residents to their homes or change the situation drastically.
The newspaper noted that despite "Israel's" silence, Hezbollah accused "Israel" of detonating thousands of pagers held by its members and warned of a reckoning response.
It questioned whether "Israel" would once again find itself waiting for Hezbollah’s likely response, resulting in a prolonged state of alert.
Hezbollah held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for its criminal aggression, which targeted civilians with the explosion of wireless communication devices in several Lebanese areas on Tuesday.
The party stated that it holds the Israeli occupation accountable "after reviewing all the facts, current data, and available information," describing the incident as "heinous aggression."
Hezbollah also announced that "the treacherous and criminal enemy will undoubtedly face its just punishment for this heinous attack, in ways both expected and unforeseen."
