Israeli media considered on Friday that Hamas declared its war against "Israel" by linking the Gaza Strip, the bombing from Lebanon, and the Jordan Valley operation, adding that the movement succeeded in "embarrassing Tel Aviv and grasping it while it was in a state of weakness and confusion."
Zvi Yehezkili, commentator of Arab affairs on the Israeli Channel 13, said there is one course linking Gaza, Lebanon, the Jordan Valley, and the calls chanted in Al-Aqsa Mosque in support of Al-Qassam Brigades Commander Mohammad Al-Deif, which is that Hamas declared war against "Israel" during the "Jewish Passover holiday."
Yehezkili considered that Hamas is testing "Israel" in several arenas, adding that the movement was "aware that what Israel is doing in Gaza is another attack against empty real estate."
The commentator continued, "If we link all these events, I believe that Hamas succeeded in embarrassing Israel and grasping it while it is weak."
