Political analyst and journalist Rasem Obaidat from occupied al-Quds snatched his freedom on Friday from the Israeli occupation after being detained for three days.
The IOF stormed his house on Tuesday in the village of Jabal Mukaber, in occupied al-Quds,
The Obaidat family said that forces and intelligence personnel stormed their house, searched the office, and confiscated computers and some honor shields, in addition to models of the Dome of the Rock.
This comes during the IOF's detention campaign in the West Bank, as on Friday it detained more than 70 Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank. In a related context, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of 275 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7.
The Israeli occupation has continued its aggression against the cities of the West Bank intensely and violently since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and launched a massive detention campaign amid escalating confrontations between Resistance fighters and the occupation forces, coinciding with the continuation of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Israeli campaign against journalists
On a related note, since October 7, the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the death of at least 86 Palestinian journalists, according to the government media office's announcement on Monday. The most recent journalist martyr, Mohamed Abu Samra, was killed by an Israeli shelling on Sunday.
The media office stated that "Israel's" targeting of Palestinian journalists is perceived as an effort to distort the Palestinian narrative and conceal the truth. As part of efforts to depopulate the Gaza Strip, "Israel" has since October 7 carried out airstrikes and ground offensives, while also imposing a siege on the Gaza Strip.
Last week, on December 8, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) revealed on December 8 that since October 7, more journalists have been killed in Gaza than in any other conflict since 1990. "The war in Gaza has been more deadly for journalists than any single conflict since the IFJ began recording journalists killed in the line of duty in 1990," the IFJ statement said, adding, "This year, 72% of journalists killed worldwide have been killed in the Gaza conflict."
The IFJ noted that so far, 68 journalists have been killed since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, including 61 Palestinians, and three Lebanese journalists.
In late November, an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon led to the martyrdom of Al Mayadeen's reporter Farah Omar and cameraman Rabih Me'mari, along with Hussein Akil.
