Palestinian factions condemn Israeli aggression on Damascus
The Palestinian resistance factions affirm their solidarity and stand by Syria in the face of Israeli occupation's aggression, which left a number of casualties yesterday.
Palestine's Hamas resistance movement strongly condemned on Sunday the Israeli aggression against Syria and its targeting of residential neighborhoods in the capital, Damascus, which resulted in a number of civilian casualties.
Hamas stressed the importance of confronting this "brutal fascist occupation, by uniting ranks and uniting Arab and Islamic efforts."
It stressed that "the Zionist occupation, with its presence in Palestine, continues to pose a threat to the nation and to security and peace in the region," adding that it is a demonic entity that can only be deterred by force and resistance until its demise from the land.
Likewise, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine strongly condemned the Israeli aggression, saying that "This aggression proves the extent of the Zionists' hatred and fascism, and their continuous endeavor to target Syria and deepen the tragedy of the brotherly Syrian people who are still healing after the devastating earthquake."
Additionally, the Jihad movement stressed that it stands with and by Syria "in the face of these plots led by the Zionist entity, which target its sovereignty, security, stability, and unity."

In turn, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the Israeli aggression, stressing that "this blatant aggression comes at a time when Syria has not recovered from the devastating earthquake, confirming once again the aggressiveness and fascism of this racist entity.
For its part, The Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) also condemned the "barbaric Zionist attack on Syria," saying that the Zionist enemy continues to spill Syrian blood, "despite all the pain Syrians are going through."
The PRC added that "there is no humanity, no morals, no international, political and military rules that would stop this enemy from its criminality and terror."
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Damascus said that the Israeli aggression yesterday targeted areas in the Damascus countryside, Kafr Sousa, and Tal Al-Masih near the city of Shahba, north of Al-Suwayda.
He indicated that several civilians were killed as a result of the Israeli aggression that targeted residential buildings in Kafr Sousa. A source in the Syrian Health Ministry told Al Mayadeen that five civilians were killed in the aggression, with others still in critical condition.
