Palestinian Factions: Gaza Is a Part of Palestine
After the Israeli occupation assaulted Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and carried out several raids following confrontations with Palestinians, the Palestinian factions encourage Gaza to remain steadfast.
The Palestinian factions in Gaza stated that they would not stop their activities until the Israeli occupation stops its violations against occupied Jerusalem and the people of Palestine, and until the occupation lifts the blockade off Gaza Strip.
In a Sunday press conference from Aida Camp, the factions called on the occupation to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities, to stop obstructing efforts to rebuild Gaza, and to discontinue the isolation of Gaza from the rest of the world.
The factions stressed their rejection of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza strip, asserting that the occupation is responsible for attacking civilians. The aggression will not discourage the resistance, for they will go on with their activism according to a plan and a view, they added.
The resistance factions called on the Palestinian people to widely participate in activism, and to send a message to the world, their allies, and mediators that "Gaza is a part of Palestine. No one will ever succeed in isolating it from its country and people. We will not accept that its siege goes on any longer."
This statement came in response to yesterday's aggression, as the Israeli occupation warplanes launched several air raids on separate areas in the Gaza Strip, hours after the confrontations that erupted along the Gaza separation barrier.
During the confrontations, the Israeli occupation forces had used live bullets and tear gas canisters to disperse Palestinians participating in the Seif Al-Quds festival to attend the 52nd commemoration of the burning of the Al-Aqsa mosque, which led to injuries among those gathered near the Gaza separation barrier.
Protestors burned tires near the barrier, east of al-Malika Refugee Camp. Several young Palestinians climbed the fence and raised the Palestinian flag. They also threw stones at the Israeli occupation forces.
The IOF reported that one of its soldiers was seriously wounded after being shot in the Gaza Strip, announcing that he was transferred to the hospital.
