In the wake of ongoing Israeli attacks on the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, Palestinian factions confirmed that "what is happening in Sheikh Jarrah is a full-fledged crime."

Hamas official Mushir Al-Masri affirmed that Palestinians will respond to the escalation with an escalation, recalling that a deterrence formula has been imposed by the Palestinian resistance.

"We cannot abandon Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and we will not abandon Salem family or any other family."

On his account, the Islamic Jihad leader in Gaza, Khader Habib, told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli apartheid practices which threaten the entire region must be exposed.

"All of Palestine belongs to our people," Habib continued, "and this entity has no choice but to leave," emphasizing that "all Palestinians are being targeted, and they must unite in resisting the occupier."

Furthermore, a member of Fatah Revolutionary Council Muhammad Al-Lahham told Al Mayadeen that what is happening in Sheikh Jarrah has attracted worldwide attention, stressing that "we must pledge to build a state of solidarity in the face of the occupier."
