Palestinian National Council Urges UN to Take Action Against "Israel"
On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, the Palestinian National Council calls on the international community to intensify efforts to achieve peace for the Palestinians.
The Palestinian National Council called on the UN and parliaments of the world to work on achieving peace for Palestinians who are under Israeli occupation and its settlement policies.
The Council published a statement today, Tuesday, on the occasion of the International Day of Peace: It urged the UN's Security Council to take immediate actions and implement resolutions in support for Palestinians to enjoy security and peace in an independent state, with the city of Al-Quds as its capital.
It also considered that the only way to deter the enemy is to activate international accountability against the occupation and all its tools on the occupied territories.
The statement emphasized the right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation and noted that peace will not be achieved in the Middle East until Palestinians obtain all their rights.
