Palestinian Presidency condemns settlers' attacks in Burqa
The settlers' continuous attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank demand the intervention of the international community to provide protection for the Palestinians.
The Palestinian Presidency strongly condemned the continuous settlers' attacks against Palestinians in the northern occupied West Bank, especially on the village of Burqa.
The Presidency said the settlers' attacks came under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces and left more than 125 injured, children traumatized, property destroyed, and roads blocked.

It also held the Israeli occupation government responsible for the continued attacks by settlers, adding that if such attacks continue, more tension and violence will break out, which is what the Israeli extremists seek.
In this context, the Palestinian Presidency renewed its call on the international community and the UN Security Council to urgently intervene to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and stressed the need to pressure the Israeli occupation's government to stop building settlements and end similar attacks.
On Thursday, over 100 Palestinian civilians sustained various injuries after the Israeli occupation used rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas in Burqa, Nablus, during confrontations between Palestinians and the IOF.
In addition, several Palestinians suffocated during confrontations with the IOF in the village a few days ago.
