On Monday morning, Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids on several areas in Gaza targeting mainly the west of Gaza and Khan Younis. They bombed houses in the al-Bureij camp, causing severe destruction to property and injuring many Palestinians. In parallel, the occupation initiated continuous incursions in the east of Gaza.
Israeli warplanes also opened fire on areas between Khan Younis and Rafah while continuously artillery shelling Khan Younis.
Local news sources have reported that alongside the Israeli bombing on Khan Younis that destroyed Palestinian homes, an Israeli "quadcopter" opened fire on Palestinians west of the area, and in the vicinity of the al-Nasser Medical Complex.
In addition to the continuous bombing of the al-Nasser Medical Complex, the latter is fully surrounded by the IOF from three sides; the Hospital is only 1 kilometer away from al-Amal Hospital.
The PRCS subsequently called on the global community to help protect its workers and facilities in Gaza.
⭕️We are deeply concerned about the safety of our teams working at Al-Amal Hospital and the PRCS headquarters in #KhanYunis, and we call on the international community to urgently intervene to provide protection for our teams and facilities. ⚠️Despite the danger in… pic.twitter.com/JlbJkfHSda

The PRCS expressed extreme worry about the safety of its team urging for protection from the international community.
The PRCS also stated that it had retrieved eight persons with "moderate to critical" injuries from a location near Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis. According to the statement, one of the victims died as a result of his injuries, while four others were brought to operating rooms.
"PRCS has established a field ambulance point outside the Al-Amal neighborhood to ensure continuity of operations amid the ongoing blockade imposed by the occupation and the difficulty in the movement of ambulance vehicles," according to its statement.
25,105 martyrs, 62,681 injured
The Euro-Med Monitor confirmed that the occupation forces are continuously escalating the policy of starvation and humanitarian aid prevention on Palestinians in Gaza, using hunger as a weapon to forcibly displace Palestinians attempting to avoid death by bombing or starvation.
In a report marking the 100th day of the aggression, the Euro-med Monitor reported that about 100,000 Palestinians were martyred, missing, and wounded saying that “Israel committed horrific war crimes, with a casualty toll of about 1,000 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip every day, the bloodiest statistic in the modern history of wars."
The number of martyrs has risen to about 25,105 martyrs, and 62,681 injured since October 7, according to the Ministry of Health, the majority of whom are women and children, with thousands of Palestinians still under the rubble and cannot be reached.
The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor released a statement on January 18, stressing that the Israeli occupation forces are not only starving Palestinians in northern Gaza but have also killed dozens of individuals who tried to receive the meager aid that is arriving there, continuing the genocide that the occupation has been committing against Palestinians since October 7.
The human rights organization demanded that the United Nations agencies involved be held accountable for their persistent failure to guarantee suitable channels for providing the Palestinian people with humanitarian aid.
