The northern portion of the Gaza Strip continues to witness intense confrontations between the Palestinian Resistance and the Israeli Occupation Forces, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

Our correspondent added that the Resistance confronted occupation forces in several areas, including the al-Nasr area, Sheikh Radwan, Beit Hanoun, and Tal al-Hawa, noting that the occupation soldiers barricaded themselves inside tanks and troop carriers, while the Resistance continues to carry out its operations.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced it was successful in striking, during overnight confrontations, seven military vehicles that were advancing along the axes of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, Al-Saftawi.

The National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced fierce confrontations taking place against penetrating Israeli occupation forces and vehicles along the northwestern axes of the Gaza Strip. the Resistance group also announced that it had targeted the "Kissufim" military site with a number of mortar shells earlier this morning.

Hezbollah pounds Israeli outpost with 4 Burkan rockets

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced on Monday the targeting of the "Biranit" barracks, the headquarters of the "91st Division," with four heavy-caliber Burkan rockets, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to affirm support for their Resistance amid the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Hezbollah declared, in two different statements, that it successfully hit the same Israeli military outpost in two separate operations with 4 Burkan rockets within a 20-minute interval.

It is worth noting that Hezbollah used Burkan rockets for the first time, targeting Israeli occupation outposts, on November 4.

Burkan is a short-range rocket with a range of up to 10 km, and its warhead's weight varies from 100 kg to 500 kg. Launched from pedestal launchers designed for mortar bombs, Hezbollah reportedly obtained these rockets in the mid-2000s.

The "Burkan" falls into the category of heavy rockets, characterized by a substantial warhead capable of causing significant damage at relatively short ranges, typically up to 10 kilometers. These rockets, often referred to as "heavyweights," exhibit an inverse relationship between warhead size and range.
