Resistance fighters in Tulkarm city confronted an Israeli military raid early Thursday morning, engaging the invading units with gunfire and explosive devices, inflicting confirmed casualties.

The a-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm Battalion reported that their fighters from the Bal'a company successfully repelled the Israeli incursion at 1:58 AM after it destroyed the home of Mohammad Talal Abu Yassin, a Palestinian detainee. Concurrently, the Resistance fighters confronted an Israeli infantry unit near the demolished Palestinian home, striking military vehicles with bursts of gunfire and explosives, causing injuries to the unit.

At 2:53 AM, the al-Quds Brigades detonated a pre-positioned explosive device targeting an Israeli Panther military vehicle in the Wadi Al-Sha'ir area near Anabta, southeast of Tulkarm. The explosion disabled the vehicle, causing significant damage.

The Israeli military had also stormed Anabta and nearby Bal'a, razing civilian property during the raid.  Reports indicate that approximately 30 military vehicles, including two bulldozers, participated in the siege and demolition operation in Bal'a’s western neighborhood. The targeted building, which consisted of two floors and a storage room, had been forcibly evacuated by Abu Yassin’s family following a demolition order issued by Israeli authorities.

A week before the raid, the family had received notice from the Israeli military of plans to demolish the home and confiscate the property.

The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported that Israeli authorities carried out 52 demolitions in November, affecting 63 structures, including 27 homes, 17 agricultural facilities, and other civilian structures.

In a related development, Palestinian media sources reported that Israeli forces have issued expulsion orders to Palestinian families in the Khirbet Tana area, near Beit Furik, east of Nablus. The families were instructed to vacate their homes to make way for Israeli settlement expansion.
