IOF admit failure, acknowledge no sufficient troops to control Gaza
On a similar note, the Israeli occupation admitted, yesterday, that it lacks the sufficient number of troops needed to control the Gaza Strip. This admission was detailed in an article by Israeli journalist Bini Aschkenasy on the Israeli media website, Walla.
According to the report, last week, Israeli occupation forces submitted their response to the Supreme Court regarding the issue of allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza. The response also highlighted the limited troop numbers, which make controlling the territory challenging.
The Israeli occupation's Attorney General’s office, representing the IOF, according to the report, stated that the current size of the forces and the nature of the occupation army’s activities do not allow for effective control over the Gaza Strip.
The office emphasized that the IOF do not yet have effective control over Gaza and that Hamas' ability to exercise governmental authority has not been fully undermined.
