The Palestinian resistance carried out a series of coordinated operations on Saturday, targeting multiple command and control sites of the Israeli occupation across the Gaza Strip.

The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, together with the al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad, struck an occupation command site near the courthouse complex south of Khan Younis with a barrage of mortar shells. The al-Qassam Brigades also confirmed an additional strike on a command center along the Salah al-Din axis south of Rafah.

The al-Quds Brigades, for their part, announced that their fighters shelled another Israeli command and control headquarters in the al-Barasi area south of the al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, using 60mm mortars.

Meanwhile, the Omar al-Qassem Forces, the military wing of the Democratic Front, reported that their fighters successfully seized highly explosive materials the occupation had been using to demolish Palestinian homes in Jabalia al-Balad, in northern Gaza.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also released footage documenting their strike on the Israeli settlement of Mivtahim with a KN-103 missile.

These developments came one day after al-Qassam announced a series of top-tier operations in Gaza City’s al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Resistance fighters struck a Merkava tank in al-Musallaba with an al-Yasin 105 shell, ambushed Israeli forces inside a fortified house in al-Barasi with a TBG shell, and detonated explosive devices inside the cockpits of two armored personnel carriers. A Namer APC and several houses sheltering occupation troops were also targeted with al-Yasin and Tandem shells, leaving confirmed casualties among Israeli soldiers.

Earlier Friday, al-Qassam also confirmed targeting a Merkava 4 tank and a D9 military bulldozer with al-Yasin 105 shells on Street 8, south of al-Zaytoun.

Heavy Losses for the Occupation

According to resistance statements, several Israeli soldiers were killed and wounded in these operations, particularly during ambushes in al-Zaytoun where occupation troops fortified in civilian homes were struck with shells and sniper fire.

These coordinated actions come as the Palestinian resistance continues to defend Gaza against the ongoing genocide waged by the Israeli occupation.
