Palestinians from the 48 territories commemorate the Second Intifada
Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories held a mass demonstration to mark the 23rd anniversary of the October 2000 Intifada.
Palestinians from the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, organized a march today to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the second Intifada that in October 2000.
Every year, the Palestinians in the occupied territories commemorate the 13 Palestinian martyrs who fell in 2000 to Israeli gunfire when they were protesting in support of the Second Intifada.
The march, attended by Palestinians from several occupied cities and villages, saw the raising of Palestinian flags, an act that is punishable by the Israeli occupation.

Palestinians also insist on recalling the names of the 13 Palestinian martyrs who were killed by sniper fire from the occupation forces, highlighting the brutality and hypocrisy of the occupation regime.
Furthermore, Palestinian leaders from the 1948 territories paid tribute to the anniversary in Sakhnin by visiting the martyrs' graves and reciting the Fatiha, a Surah from the Quran that is read to pray for the dead, for their souls.
