Al Mayadeen's correspondent tours the border region in South Lebanon and compares the movement flow there to a typical Eid al-Fitr day.
As Al Mayadeen's camera toured villages of South Lebanon near the border with occupied Palestine, it reported on the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr there, showcasing how the Israeli occupation has failed to hinder the resilience of the Lebanese people in the south who remain attached to their land at all costs.
Al Mayadeen Online's correspondent reported that in South Lebanon, many people from the villages on the front lines participated in the Eid prayer despite the dangers in the area due to the continuous Israeli violations and bombing.

Even though the Israeli occupation's artillery targeted the outskirts of the towns of Alma al-Shaab and al-Naqoura, as well as al-Labbouneh and Wadi Hamoul in the western sector, Lebanese people have come to their villages on the borders to celebrate the first day of Eid al-Fitr and confirm their presence, she added.
According to our correspondent, intermittent Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the outskirts of the towns of al-Odaisseh and Blida, preceded by the firing of machine gun shells from the Bayad Blida site.

Hassan Fadlallah speaks to Al Mayadeen
On his part, Hassan Fadlallah, a member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, told Al Mayadeen that we are witnessing an active presence in the villages of South Lebanon highlighting the steadfastness and resilience of our people.
He further sent a message to the enemy from the city of Bent Jbeil, stressing that any large-scale war on Lebanon would be met with great capabilities.
Fadlallah emphasized that the Lebanese Resistance is dealing with every Israeli attack on Lebanon, highlighting that the Resistance is now waging the battle within certain equations, and "if the enemy escalates, we are ready for that.”
He also said that the international movement relating to the southern Lebanon front had subsided slightly, and delegates are being informed that this front is linked to ending the war in Gaza.
The outcome of the battle in this entire region is in the hands of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness, the Lebanese MP said.
Following Eid al-Fitr prayers, many people took to the streets in several Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon including al-Burj al-Shamali, Rashidieh, Miye ou Miye, Beddawi camp, and al-Jaleel in Baalbek.
