The head of the Sanaa government referred to the Salvation Government's efforts to "combine friendship and alliance with Russia and China," adding that Sanaa's "disagreement with the US policies has been clear since day one."
Bin Habtoor added that what he described as "false legitimacy" supported by the United States and Saudi Arabia is a cover for the looting and stealing of Yemeni wealth and transferring it to Saudi banks, stressing that "the military force that the Yemeni armed forces are displaying, guarantees peace, otherwise it is a force directed against the countries of aggression."
The Russian President's Special Representative to the Middle East and African Countries, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed on Wednesday with the Yemeni delegation efforts for a political solution to the crisis in Yemen.
Two days ago, the head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abdul Salam, confirmed to Al Mayadeen that "the visit to Moscow comes in an exceptional and sensitive circumstance to find a solution that will benefit the people of Yemen at such a stage."
The head of the negotiating delegation added, "There are new challenges that we share with Russia, Iran, the countries of the axis of resistance, and other countries affected by the US hegemony," noting that "there is a change in the regional and international mood, and Saudi Arabia is aware that the US protection is no longer guaranteed."
