PMF's Al-Fayyad: Relying on foreign forces will not help end the crisis
The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces affirmed that their experience represents the nation's ambition for salvation.
The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh al-Fayyad, confirmed Friday that unity will "enable us to achieve success in all fields."
In his speech on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of victory over ISIS, al-Fayyad said that the PMF are the ones who defeated this organization.
He pointed out that the PMF was able to bring forth a model for true coexistence, and noted that the PMF experience represents the nation's ambition for salvation.
Al-Fayyad also stressed that ending the crisis can only be achieved through determination and cohesion among Iraqis, adding that relying on foreign forces will not help end the crisis.
The Popular Mobilization Forces, in cooperation with the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, continue to pursue ISIS remnants in several Iraqi provinces.
