The Polish government has no intention of considering Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak's resignation following the incident with a fell missile in the country's north, according to government spokesperson Piotr Muller on Sunday.
The debris of an unidentified military object was discovered in the northern Polish city of Bydgoszcz on April 27, according to Polish police. Later, the media stated that it was a missile with Russian markings that was fired as early as December 2022.

When asked if Blaszczak should resign, Muller told TVN24 that there "Will be no such resignation."
The official emphasized that the minister had already developed positive relationships with Polish army generals.
"If there is a crack in this cooperation, then, this is bad. I agree with that. If this situation can be fixed, then, everything possible must be done for this," he stated.
The RMF FM radio station stated earlier this week that the falling item may be an air-to-ground missile launched by the Polish military during a target rehearsal. Later, citing the findings of the study, the same news site stated that it was a Russian-made Kh-55 aircraft cruise missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated on Thursday that he was also made aware of the occurrence in late April. Soon later, Blaszczak stated that the military had received information about the missing missile on December 16, but had not alerted him or other government services. In reply, the Polish military command stated that the event had been reported to the country's leadership.
