Poll shows Biden's disapproval rating hits 47%
A Bloomberg survey last week has revealed that Biden is behind Trump in numerous important states.
According to a poll announced Saturday, strong voter disapproval of Joe Biden's job performance has hit 47%, the greatest negative polling percentage at any point during his administration. According to a Siena College survey commissioned by The New York Times, Biden presently trails likely Republican contender Donald Trump by 43% to 48% among registered voters nationwide.
Just one in every four voters (24%) believe the country is headed in the right direction - a critical topic in the run-up to a national election - and more than twice as many people said Biden's policies had directly harmed them as those who claimed his policies had benefited them.
A total of 63% who believe the country is headed in the wrong direction said they would vote for Trump.
Last week, a Bloomberg survey revealed that Biden is behind Trump in numerous important states like
Arizona (6%), Georgia (6%), Pennsylvania (6%), Michigan (2%), North Carolina (9%), Nevada (6%) and Wisconsin (4%).
A majority of respondents expressed worries about Biden's age, and a considerable number felt Trump was dangerous, implying that the number of "double haters"; those who support neither candidate, is significant.
In Saturday's poll, Biden's approval rating was 38%, while Trump had a 44% positive rating.
Nineteen percent of respondents disapproved of both men, although Biden is somewhat less disliked, with a 7% difference between Biden (38%) and Trump (45%). According to The Times, the spread is significant: the candidate who is least despised by "double haters" has won the previous two presidential elections.
Results from a compilation of a dozen polls by RealClearPolitics revealed on Wednesday that the approval rating of former US President Donald Trump has skyrocketed to its highest level since 2022.
According to results, 42.1% of potential voters hold a favorable view of Trump, compared to only 35.9% measured in December 2022.
This marks Trump's highest rating since April 22, 2022. At the time, only 45.8% of potential voters viewed him favorably.
Biden losing Black, female, latino voters
The New York Times poll shows several red flags for the Biden campaign, including signs that the Democratic party's coalition of female, Black, and Latino voters is disintegrating.
According to the study, Biden is just slightly ahead of Trump (41% to 47% among working-class, non-university-educated voters of color). Four years ago, Biden led by 50 points.
Recently, Trump speculated that his legal issues garnered him support within the Black voting community.
Speaking to the Black Conservative Federation gala in South Carolina, Trump stressed that he was indicted for "nothing" and that Black people like him because "they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against, and they actually viewed me as I’m being discriminated against.”
Democrats want candidate against financial aid to 'Israel', not Biden
A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that most Democrats favor a presidential candidate who does not give military aid to "Israel", as opposed to the current US President Joe Biden ahead of the November elections.
The poll demonstrated that 56% of respondents who identified themselves as Democrats said they would vote for someone who doesn't supply military assistance to "Israel" as opposed to 40% who said they would.
This comes as Biden faces backlash in his own party for supporting "Israel's" genocide in Gaza, as a hypothetical poll shows he is tied at 36% with Republican opponent and former President Donald Trump.
In the first weeks that followed the war on Gaza, Biden initially expressed strong support for "Israel's" actions. However, as the scale of the genocide progressed and criticism of Biden's stance on "Israel" has intensified domestically, he has become more critical of "Israel's" actions.
