Popular march in Caracas supporting Maduro, condemning US blockade
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Caracas reports that Venezuelans took to the streets to welcome President Maduro after his tour.
Yesterday, the streets of Caracas abounded with Venezuelans who took to the streets in support of President Nicolas Maduro and in condemnation of the American blockade, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Caracas reported.
The United Socialist Party of Venezuela called for the march to welcome President Maduro from his tour that included China, Algeria, and Cuba.
Thousands of Venezuelans participated in the march, which was held in the neighborhoods of Macarao in the heart of the capital, and it was attended by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez.
Venezuelans danced for hours to the tunes of national, revolutionary, and popular songs, despite the rain.

During Maduro's trip to China, in a meeting with President Xi, the two presidents agreed on "upgrading of China-Venezuela relations" to an "all-weather strategic partnership."
During their meeting, President Xi reaffirmed China's unwavering support for Venezuela's efforts to safeguard national sovereignty, dignity, and social stability. He also expressed China's commitment to assisting Venezuela in resisting foreign interference while actively seeking to deepen cooperation between the two nations.
