Protesters in Denmark demand an end to arm sales to 'Israel'
On the 39th day of the Israeli aggression on the people of Gaza people, protesters around the world continue to demand an end to the Israeli war crimes in the Strip.
Demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people and Gazans around the world are still ongoing, as "Israel" carries on with its aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 39th day in a row.
Individuals in Denmark organized a demonstration outside a weapons factory in protest of Israeli war crimes in Gaza. Protesters demanded an end to arms sales and financial and military support to "Israel", which is systematically killing Palestinian children and insisting on its genocide of the Palestinian people.
It is worth noting that the Danish government had announced a $10.6 million aid package to be sent to besieged Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Previously, the Minister of Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy, Dan Jorgensen, said, "The humanitarian situation in Gaza is catastrophic and is worsening by the day."
The Minister explained that the Danish care package targets "children who are severely impacted."
However, the Danish government has not yet called for a ceasefire in Gaza, sufficing with a call for "humanitarian pauses" that would see humanitarian aid enter the Strip.
On Monday, during the European Union summit of foreign ministers, the Luxemborian and Belgian representatives expressed concerns over the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza, which speaks to a changing European approach to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The foreign minister of Luxembourg criticized the Israeli bombardment of Palestinian hospitals in Gaza.
"These are not battlefields. Patients who are in intensive care [don’t] stand a chance. There is no more oxygen, no more water, no more medicine. So these people are going to die," he said.
"We really must stop this and try to find a solution. You can’t negotiate with Hamas, but you can negotiate with Qatar, for example," he added.
On her part, the foreign minister of Belgium described the situation in Gaza as "intolerable".
In the same context, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said that EU member states have collectively agreed on a common stance in regard to the burgeoning war in Gaza, favoring "immediate pauses" to allow for the opening of humanitarian corridors.
