Putin Orders New Duma Deputies to Socially Support Citizens
He also requested that all parties be heard, even those constituting a minority.
In his first meeting with the State Duma deputies in the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin disclosed on Tuesday that he ordered his government to provide additional suggestions on social support for the Russian citizens within a month, promising to hold a meeting on this issue with the Russian Council of Ministers.
In the same context, Putin added that he is always aware of those who need his government’s support, in particular the social payments to families with schoolchildren, and hoping that the State Duma deputies will earn the confidence of the people through efficient extensive daily work.
On another note, Putin noted that the demands of voters, even those who represent a political minority, must be heard.
