Resistance bombs 'Kiryat Shmona' in response to killed children
In retaliation for the four martyrs killed by Israeli precision munition in South Lebanon, Hezbollah targets the Israeli settlement, "Kiryat Shmona" with Grad rockets.
In response to the "heinous and brutal crime committed by the Zionist enemy this afternoon, targeting a civilian car on the Maayserah road between Ainata and Aitaroun," Hezbollah confirmed, in a statement that its fighters have "launched a missile attack on Qiryat Shemona settlement at 7:20 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2023, using a number of Grad rockets (Katyusha)."
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon also affirmed that it "will never tolerate any harm or aggression against civilians," stressing that civilians will be avenged with a "resolute and powerful" response.

In an update, a second volley of Grads was launched at around 9:30, no reports of Iron Dome activation were recorded.
Israeli Channel 13 reported that the Israeli Iron Dome system was ineffective against Hezbollah rockets, as the projectiles arrived quickly from southern Lebanon and fell in "Kiryat Shmona".
Earlier, the Israeli occupation forces targeted a civilian car on Lebanese territories using precision munition claiming the lives of three children and their grandmother, while the mother was transported to the nearest hospital.
The munition was launched from a drone directly targeting the car, in Ainata, Southern Lebanon, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

In turn, Israeli media immediately announced that the IOF claimed to have "bombed fighters who wanted to target a settlement with missiles."
This violation of sovereignty, and flagrant attack against civilians, marks the first of its kind and the Israeli statement shows the extent of the falsification and lies in the occupation’s propaganda.
It is important to note that the town of Ainata is located adjacent to the city of Bint Jbeil and that there are several kilometers between the town and the Lebanese-Palestinian border. The southern villages in Lebanon are still witnessing a largely normal movement of civilians, despite the Israeli escalation on the border.
