The Jenin Battalion of the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, announced that its fighters confronted Israeli occupation forces in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement, the battalion reported that its fighters unleashed heavy volleys of gunfire at the occupation forces during their operation in the town at dawn.

Additionally, fighters from the battalion's Yamoun groups engaged Israeli forces in intense confrontations on the frontlines, alongside fighters from the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades-Jenin. The battle escalated as the enemy forces stormed the al-Yamoun area in Jenin, engaging them with machine guns.

At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces arrested Nour Khaled Hawshiya, a Palestinian youth from the town of Yamoun, west of Jenin. The forces stormed the town, raided his home, ransacked it, and then detained him. Several other homes in the area were also raided.

Israeli forces also arrested two Palestinians, Ahmad Fares Radi (45) and Mohammad Lutfi Abu Salem (62), during a raid on the village of al-Lubban al-Gharbi, northwest of Ramallah.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed the villages of al-Mazra'a al-Gharbiya and Rantis, northwest of Ramallah, but no detainments were reported. They additionally raided the Tabqa area in the city of Dura, south of al-Khalil, as reported by Palestinian media.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the village of Umm Salamouna, south of Beit Lahm, where they raided several homes, searching and ransacking them. No detainments were reported in this raid.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed the village of Burin, south of Nablus, firing live ammunition, sound bombs, and toxic gas. No injuries were reported.

This occurred after the forces intensified their military measures around Nablus the previous evening, closing the Deir Sharaf military checkpoint in both directions under the pretext of a stabbing operation.

They also increased security at the al-Murabba’a and Awarta checkpoints, south of the city, conducting thorough searches of vehicles in both directions.
