'Heroic operation'
Earlier today, occupation forces killed Palestinian youth Adham al-Bajer during their storming of the city of al-Bireh.
Shortly after, a shooting operation targeting a car near the town of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm, left three Israelis wounded.
The shooter withdrew right after the operation while a large force of Israeli occupation soldiers was deployed to the scene and launched a manhunt, Palestinian media reported.
In a statement, Hamas said that the "heroic shooting operation ... this morning ... is a natural reaction to the heinous crimes and atrocities committed in Gaza and the ongoing violations in the West Bank."
Hamas called on the people of the West Bank and al-Quds to continue the path of resistance and carry out more heroic operations targeting occupation soldiers and settlers.
