The Palestinian Resistance continues to confront Israeli occupation forces invading the southernmost city of Rafah for the 35th consecutive day, amid a war on the entirety of the Gaza Strip that has reached its 237th day and counting.

On Sunday, multiple Palestinian Resistance factions announced operations against Israeli occupation forces in several sectors of the besieged territory, with Hamas' al-Qassam fighters headlining defensive actions.

Al-Qassam Brigades mortar units fired large-caliber mortar rounds at occupation forces positioned in the Tell al-Sultan area in southern Rafah, while a sniper force shot an Israeli soldier located in a nearby area.

The brigades also conducted a joint operation with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades, firing a salvo of rocket artillery rounds at the Sufa military base, located to the east of Rafah.

As a result of the attack, warning sirens were set off in the envelope settlement at approximately 2:50 pm (local time) on Sunday afternoon.

Al-Qassam fighters also targeted an Israeli Apache attack helicopter over Rafah with a shoulder-launched surface-to-air missile.

Moreover, al-Qassam's mortar units barraged advancing Israeli forces in the vicinity of the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah, with large-caliber shells.

Mortar units from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (DFLP) National Resistance Brigades also attacked Israeli forces near al-Awda roundabout in Rafah.

Mortar units from the al-Quds Brigades fired a large amount of shells at Israeli occupation forces positioned in Tal Zaarab on Sunday morning.

The PIJ's military wing also fired 60 mm mortar rounds at a grouping of Israeli occupation forces positioned to the southeast of the city of Rafah.

The group also fired a salvo of 107 mm rockets and a barrage of mortar shells at the Karem Abu Salem military site, which has been utilized by occupation forces as a base for logistics and commanding attacks on Rafah.

Palestinian factions attack occupiers in Netzarim

Further north, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades sniped an Israeli soldier positioned in the Netzarim Axis, which separates the northern Gaza Strip from the rest of the territory.

The group also launched barrages of mortar shells and 107 mm rockets at occupation forces located in the strategic axis.

Finally, al-Mujahideen Brigades fighters also participated in attacks on occupation forces in Netzarim, launching a concentrated salvo of rockets at forces in the area.

Israeli genocide of Palestinians endures

On the other hand, Israeli strikes on Gaza City have been renewed, killing six members of the same family in al-Daraj neighborhood.

Among those martyred in the strike was a pregnant Palestinian woman, the Palestinian Civil Defense reported.

Several others were injured in the strike, and authorities expect the death toll to rise.

Another strike on a house in al-Shujaiya neighborhood injured several Palestinians in the area.

Despite the mounting death toll and destruction of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian people and their Resistance continue to push back against occupiers across the besieged territory.
