Resistance engages IOF units in close quarters combat in Juhr al-Dik
The Palestinian Resistance prevents Israeli occupation units from advancing on the eastern axis.
The Palestinian Resistance continues to confront the invading Israeli occupation forces' attacks on multiple fronts in Gaza, thwarting an attempt by the occupation's vehicles to advance and resulting in significant human and material losses.
Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters engaged six Israeli soldiers in close-quarters combat in the Juhr al-Dik area using an anti-personnel charge and automatic rifles.
On its part, al-Quds Brigades announced targeting an Israeli military vehicle with a Tandem shell in the Safatawi area north of the Gaza Strip.
The Brigades also announced the targeting of a gathering of occupation soldiers with several mortar shells in the western advancement axis near Beit Lahia in the northern sector.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that Resistance fighters have valiantly confronted occupation forces on the eastern axis near the al-Zaytun neighborhood, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun.
He added that the Resistance succeeded in destroying several occupation vehicles in al-Zaytun neighborhood, noting that the occupation failed to advance on the eastern axes due to the heroic steadfastness of the Resistance brigades.
Later Israeli media reported that 5 Israeli soldiers were confirmed to have been neutralized by the resistance fighters in the northern Gaza Strip.

In another context, a recent report by Haaretz showed that Palestinian Resistance fighters were unaware of the Nova festival in the kibbutz.
The Israeli newspaper said the Israeli police investigation into the incident found that the Palestinian Resistance had planned to reach Kibbutz "Re'im" and other kibbutzes during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood but discovered the party during the infiltration itself.
According to the report, the probe also revealed that some of the attendees of the event were shot by Israeli attack helicopters, which were deployed to the scene.
The Haaretz report echoes a previous one by The Electronic Intifada news website, which reported that an Israeli settler who witnessed the Palestinian Resistance's Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on Gaza envelope settlements confirmed that some settlers were "undoubtedly" killed at the hands of Israeli occupation forces.
Moreover, one settler, Yasmin Porat, told Israeli radio that the incident happened when Israeli occupation forces engaged in a fierce armed confrontation with Palestinian Resistance fighters in Kibbutz "Be'eri" and "fired indiscriminately" at the fighters and Israeli settlers taken captive by the Resistance.
