Various Palestinian Resistance factions in Gaza confirmed Tuesday that their fighters carried out several operations and engaged in fierce confrontations against Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, confirmed that its Resistance fighters attacked a group of Israeli soldiers with a TBG shell, causing casualties among them near the hospital.

The Brigades' fighters also targeted seven Israeli military vehicles with al-Yassin 105 shells.

On its part, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, mentioned that its fighters engaged with an Israeli force using machine guns near the al-Shifa Medical Complex, inflicting casualties among the raiding troops.

Al-Quds Brigades fighters also targeted two Israeli military vehicles there using Tandem and RPG shells.

The Resistance group announced shelling concentrations of Israeli occupation troops west of the "Netzarim" settlement in the northern part of the central province of the Gaza Strip with rockets typed 107-mm rocket artillery.

Meanwhile, al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian al-Mujahideen Movement, said that its fighters engaged in fierce confrontation with Israeli occupation forces and their vehicles with various weapons near the al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.

Similarly, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades confirmed that its fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with the raiding Israeli occupation forces and their vehicles using machine guns and RPG shells near the al-Shifa hospital and targeted gatherings of Israeli troops and vehicles with mortar shells in the "Netzarim" axis.

Palestinian Resistance factions also repelled the invading occupation forces in some areas of al-Qarara and al-Zanna, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

As the Palestinian Resistance persists in its operations to confront the incursions of the raiding forces, the Israeli occupation military admitted Tuesday to the killing of "a commander in the 401st Armored Brigade chief’s forward command team," in battles in the vicinity of the al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, which raises the number of Israeli troops killed since October 7 to 594, including 251 since the start of the ground invasion of Gaza.

On Monday, the Israeli occupation military also admitted to the killing of a First Sergeant in the Nahal Brigade in al-Shifa hospital battles.

Israeli media revealed that a special Israeli unit infiltrated the vicinity of the hospital before being surprised by a precise ambush set by the Palestinian Resistance factions.
