Resistance focused on defending the oppressed: Iraqi Hezbollah chief
The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah, Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, makes it clear that the Iraqi Resistance is well aware of relevant details the most.
The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah, Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, met Tuesday with leaders from the Axis of Resistance inside and outside Iraq in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
During the meeting, he affirmed that the efforts of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq are focused on defending the oppressed peoples and protecting the nation's achievements, taking into account the timing and responding to fundamental challenges while managing its decisions wisely and prudently.
Al-Hamidawi made it clear that the Iraqi Resistance is well aware of relevant details the most and does not allow manipulators and the weak to interfere in its affairs.
Suspending military operations against the US forces in Syria and Iraq is not the end of the matter, al-Hamidawi pointed out, adding that the Iraqi Resistance can rely on its capabilities to manage a long-term battle.
In late January, al-Hamidawi announced that his faction suspended its operations against the US forces to not go against the wishes of the Iraqi government amid discussions on the future of the presence of US and coalition forces in the country.
In a related context, the Iraqi leader stressed Tuesday that the efforts of the Iraqi people in supporting Gaza must be effective and distinctive.
Elsewhere, the Secretary-General of the Iraqi Kataib Hezbollah, indicated that the victory of liberation movements aligns with the interests of anti-imperialist forces, especially in West Asia and North Africa.
