Resistance in Gaza test-fires long-range rockets, including Ayyash 250
Sources in the Resistance say in this maneuver, the Resistance launched more than 50 rockets toward the sea, including Ayyash 250 rockets.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported on Thursday that the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip test-fired long-range rockets toward the sea.
Palestinian media reported that the Resistance conducted a major rocket maneuver, in light of the escalation of the Israeli occupation's attacks on prisoners, especially in the Al-Naqab desert prison.
The Palestinian news agency Safa cited sources in the Resistance as saying that in this maneuver, the Resistance launched more than 50 rockets toward the sea, including Ayyash 250 rockets.
It is noteworthy that the Ayyash 250 rocket was first unveiled by Martyr Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, during the battle of Seif Al-Quds, in May 2021, after it launched it toward the "Ramon" airport, in southern occupied Palestine, near the illegal settlement of "Eilat", which is about 220 km away from the Gaza Strip.
This comes as the Israeli occupation is increasing its attacks against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. The Captive Movement's Supreme National Emergency Committee held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for its attacks against the prisoners in Al-Naqab prison, underlining that it will not give in to the Israeli occupation's measures.
Earlier on Thursday, Israeli occupation repression units violently stormed into Section 3 of the Al-Naqab Prison and transferred the Palestinian prisoners to an unknown destination.
The Palestinian Prisoners Information Office said, "A large [Israeli] force from the prison administration's repressive unit was deployed in front of the prison blocks, amid a state of extreme tension."
Meanwhile, Palestine's Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees held the Israeli occupation entity and its prison administration "fully responsible for the life and safety of the prisoners of Block 3 in the Al-Naqab Prison" that were transferred after being "subjected to brutal assaults."
On his part, Hamas official Ismail Radwan read the statement of the Captive Movement's Supreme National Emergency Committee during a press conference organized by Palestinian factions outside of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), west of Gaza City, stressing that the measures of the extremist Israeli minister Itamar Ben Gvir and his tools through the prison administration amount to "playing with fire."
Radwan stressed that the Emergency Committee will not give in to the occupation's measures, adding, "We are still in the first trench of confrontation, and we will teach the enemy another lesson in resistance, confrontation, and unity if it continues its aggression."
Addressing the occupation, the Hamas official said, "Your foolishness will lead you once again to another disappointment," affirming the Resistance's readiness for a confrontation.
Elsewhere, Radwan stressed that all Palestinian factions are united in one trench in the face of the Israeli aggression, pointing out that during the coming hours, the situation may escalate, and the enemy bears full responsibility for the repercussions of attacking Palestinian prisoners in Sections 3 and 4 in the Al-Naqab prison.
