Resistance missile capabilities deter Israeli offense from attacking Lebanon: Sayyed Nasrallah
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah talks about various regional, mainly Lebanese, issues in a televised interview.
All US threats about a war with Iran are mere fearmongering, and if "Israel" launches any offensives against Iran, the response will be harsh, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah told Al-Alam News Network in an exclusive interview on Tuesday.
The top Hezbollah official touched on various topics throughout his interview, such as normalization, which he said was highly lucrative for the Israeli occupation, and the war on Yemen.
"When the Israelis say they want to destroy Hezbollah's missiles, do they know how many there are?"
Regarding the latter, Sayyed Nasrallah said, "The UAE resorted to the West and the Israelis for protection from Ansar Allah", as part of the Saudi-led coalition's bloody war on Yemen.
In a similar vein, Hezbollah's leader asked: "When the Israelis say they want to destroy Hezbollah's missiles, do they know how many there are?"
"The level of deployment of the resistance's missiles does not allow for the enemy to do anything against Lebanon," Sayyed Nasrallah said.
"The resistance's air defense has been very effective since its activation two years ago," he added, stressing that the resistance sees it is vital to possess any arms that would enable it to defend Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
In response to the accusations Hezbollah has been subject over the years about its leadership "receiving orders from Iran", Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that Hezbollah's decision-making process is Lebanese, "And those whose loyalty to Lebanon should be questioned are other parties who are receiving orders from foreign embassies."

"Some Lebanese parties are dealing with the resistance through the mentality of [our] enemies, their means, and their tools."
Regarding any alleged Iranian meddling in Lebanon, Sayyed Nasrallah noted that no Iranian party interferes in the Lebanese elections or any other internal affair.
On the other hand, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the role of the US embassy in Lebanon extended beyond the country's borders. "We are witnessing American security, political, and economic influence, and [Lebanon] must deal with everything related to intervening in the Lebanese Army," Sayyed Nasrallah stated.
"The American attempts at establishing a dialogue with Hezbollah through various parties did not cease"
Commenting on US sanctions on Lebanon, he said US sanctions were harmful in some areas, "But they cannot affect Hezbollah", and despite Washington declaring enmity for Hezbollah, "The American attempts at establishing a dialogue with Hezbollah through various parties did not cease."
"[Hezbollah] is not willing to accept anything that would harm the resistance, which constitutes the only guarantor of Lebanon's security," he declared.
On maritime border demarcation between Lebanon and the Israeli occupation, Sayyed Nasrallah said Hezbollah's stance on the issue was "based on the non-recognition of 'Israel'," asserting Hezbollah's opposition to any conspiracy to normalize, cooperate, or coordinate with the Israeli occupation within the framework of border demarcation.

Commenting on foreign interventions in Lebanon, Sayyed Nasrallah said Lebanon was a sovereign state, and no one must meddle in its affairs. "If they see that we meddle in the affairs of Arab countries due to the Yemeni issue, they should refrain from interfering in our affairs. We must not be compliant."
"Security operations have not stopped, neither did political pressure, and they did not achieve any results, therefore they resorted to economic warfare," he said on the US sanction.
In light of Future Movement leader Saad Hariri suspending his and his party's political life, Sayyed Nasrallah expressed his regret over their withdrawal from the elections, saying their withdrawal would "open the door for more extremism."
The Lebanese leader noted that several Lebanese parties set disarming the resistance as their election campaigns, "It is highly important for us that the resistance has many friends in Parliament to form a defense alliance in its favor."
"According to our intelligence, the US Ambassador [to Lebanon] scolded civil society officials as of late"
"Our presence in Parliament has to do with domestic issues and legislations related to the lives of the Lebanese people," he clarified.
He also touched on the US-backed Lebanese civil society organizations, whose effects he said were an illusion." The foreign embassies are starting to acknowledge that the effects of civil society organizations are an illusion [...] according to our intelligence, the US Ambassador [to Lebanon] scolded civil society officials as of late."
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah mourned the three Palestinian martyrs whose lives were taken by the Israeli occupation in Nablus, noting that "Tel Aviv" wants the Palestinian Authority to continue coordinating on security to undermine the resistance, stressing that "harming Al-Quds still means harming the entire Axis of Resistance."
"The goal of normalization is pushing the Palestinians into despair and hopelessness," as well as pushing them into giving up their rights. He also underscored that Operation Seif Al-Quds proved that the resistance was still alive within the Palestinian people.

He also praised the anti-normalization stances taken by various Arab countries, saying, "We must take a moment to appreciate the anti-normalization stances of many artists and athletes." Sayyed Nasrallah also praised Algeria's position on the Palestinian cause and its rejection of the African Union granting "Israel" observer status.
He touched on the Saudi-led coalition's war on Yemen once more, mainly Abu Dhabi's intervention in the country, telling the Emiratis "the solution to the Yemeni-UAE issue is easy, and Sayyed Al-Houthi has already announced it: withdraw from the war."
He also highlighted that the UAE is terrified, which he linked to the United States talking about sending reinforcements to provide "protection" against the Yemenis.

The Hezbollah chief announced that the universal war on Syria was over, and it had become futile. However, he said, "The situation there still needs more care and caution."
"The situation in Syria requires us to be side by side, and we are present within certain limits," and he unveiled a Western project to revive ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
"Syria is still open, and the United States is stealing oil and gas from the East of the Euphrates," he highlighted, shining a light on Israeli aggression on Syria. "The Israelis have targeted various resistance sites in Syria, and the Syrian air defenses have effectively responded to the Israeli attacks."

Moving a bit to the east, to Iraq, Sayyed Nasrallah said Hezbollah was mediating and bringing the parties closer together after they had been asked to do so.
He concluded in Bahrain, where he denounced the authorities for their oppression of the opposition. "There has been a severe repression of the opposition, which has been peaceful in its activism."
