Senior official Sami Abu Zuhri, on behalf of the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas, mourned commander and Resistance leader martyr Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas' Political Bureau and the architect of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Abu Zuhri also mourned martyr Sinwar's comrade, commander Mahmoud Hamdan, who was killed by Israeli occupation forces during a heroic battle.

The Hamas official paid tribute to the Palestinian martyrs, who were killed in Gaza, the West Bank, occupied al-Quds, refugee camps, and outside Palestinian territory, as well as Arab and Muslim martyrs who supported the Palestinian people.

Time to break your silence

On the ongoing besiegement of the northern Gaza Strip, where thousands are being subjected to acts of genocide by Israeli occupation forces, Abu Zuhri called on the international community to break its silence and inaction and to uphold "human values, justice, and principles" that they claim.

"The international community and the United Nations must take serious and effective action to impose sanctions on this fascist government and isolate it from all international institutions," Abu Zuhri said, stressing the futility of speeches of condemnation.

"The criminal Israeli army's cutting off of communication and internet services in northern Gaza aims to cover up the genocide it is committing and isolate our people, preventing the world from seeing the daily massacre being carried out there," he explained.

He also condemned certain Arab media outlets for adopting an editorial policy and narrative that aligns with that of the Israeli regime.

"The occupation continues [its campaign of disinformation] regarding the entry of aid into northern Gaza by spreading false and unfounded news reports," he added.

Abu Zuhri emphasized that the occupation continues to spread deceit about the existence of so-called safe zones or corridors, misleading the Palestinian people into moving toward them. In reality, no place is safe amid the escalating brutal bombardment, summary executions, and possible imprisonment faced by those fleeing the area, he explained.

The official urgently appealed to all nations, health organizations, and humanitarian agencies to take immediate action, stressing their responsibility to save Gaza’s collapsing medical system. He called for international pressure to safeguard healthcare facilities by ensuring they receive fuel and essential supplies to continue operating.

He squarely placed full responsibility for the atrocities in Gaza on the US administration and its allies, particularly Britain and Germany, accusing them of enabling these daily massacres by supplying the Israeli occupation forces with weapons, bombs, and military equipment, while also providing political cover for their actions.

Abu Zuhri urged the Arab and Islamic nations—their governments, institutions, and people—to rally together in this pivotal struggle against the Israeli occupation, emphasizing the need for solidarity with Gaza and the Resistance.

In closing, he reaffirmed that the only path for the Palestinian people and their Resistance remains unwavering: standing firm on their land, resisting occupation, and confronting aggression until they thwart all efforts of displacement and the eradication of their national cause, leading to full liberation, independence, and the right of return.
