Rocket barrage poured over 'Kiryat Shmona', Iron Dome failed
The rockets have caused significant material damage, resulting in the death of one settler and injuring two others.
Israeli news agencies reported on Tuesday that the majority of rockets launched by the Lebanese resistance fell in the center of "Kiryat Shmona," causing massive destruction as the Iron Dome intercepted only a few rockets.
Israeli news broadcaster Kan's correspondent Ruby Hammerschlag reported that the rockets caused significant property damage, resulting in the death of one settler and injuring two others.
Former Deputy Mayor of Kiryat Shmona, Shimon Qamari, acknowledged that "what remains from the lookout to Sdei Eli'ezer is scorched earth," noting that the settlers "are very pessimistic about returning to Kiryat Shmona."
"There is no chance of return, and there is nothing to move here; everything is dead," Qamari added, emphasizing that the settlers will not return to the north without restoring "complete calm and eliminating the threat of Hezbollah."
Earlier this morning, the Lebanese resistance announced targeting the "Kiryat Shmona" settlement and the Israeli army's Brigade 769 command base with dozens of rockets.
The resistance said that the operation was carried out in response to the massacre committed by the Israeli army in Al-Habbaryeh, southern Lebanon. The operation was also carried out in support of the people of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance, as per a statement.

Earlier in the day, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that seven paramedics had been killed in the Hebbariyeh massacre, after an Israeli airstrike targeted the Islamic Medical Association in the center of the town.
The Emergency and Relief Corps of the Lebanese Succour Association described the aggression as "a heinous crime" by all standards and a violation of international laws, holding the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible.
It also demanded that the Lebanese authorities take the necessary measures to prosecute the criminals before international courts.
Lebanese MP Hassan Mrad said it is "a new massacre added to the record of Israeli crimes."

This comes as Israeli assaults on Lebanese villages persist. Earlier, an Israeli warplane bombarded a farm in the plains of the town of Iaat, west of the city of Baalbek in the Bekaa region, northeast Lebanon, resulting in the martyrdom of four people, according to Al Mayadeen's sources.
Israeli airstrikes also targeted the area between the towns of Beit Yahoun and Baraachit, as well as the outskirts of the towns of Houla, Kfar Chouba, and Kfar Kila.
Additionally, Israeli artillery shelling targeted Wadi al-Saluki, while Israeli warplanes targeted the surroundings of the al-Hermel district, in northeastern Lebanon, our correspondent reported.
