Russia accuses Kiev of using US-made chemical weapons in battles
Russia reveals that the US-made chemical grenades were dropped from UAVs multiple times against the Russian Armed Forces in 2023.
The head of the radiation, chemical, and biological defense troops of the Russian Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, confirmed that Russia has recorded cases of US chemical munitions used by Ukrainian troops.
"During the special military operation, cases of the use of US chemical munitions by the armed forces of Ukraine were recorded," Kirillov said during a briefing.
According to Sputnik, the US-made chemical grenades were dropped from UAVs multiple times against the Russian Armed Forces in 2023, and just last month, an unknown toxic chemical was used, which led to burns, nausea, and vomiting.
"Ukraine, with the complicity of Western countries, does not limit itself to the use of non-lethal chemicals, actively using chemicals from the list," he said.

He added, "I would like to draw attention to the statement by representatives of the Ukraine armed forces about the availability of such compounds at their disposal, including analogues of the combat toxic substance Tabun, which is included in List 1 of the Convention [on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction]."
The US is in every evil detail
This comes around two weeks after Donetsk People's Republic head Denis Pushilin warned that Ukrainian forces have used chemical weapons on the front lines in the Donbass in the regions of Bakhmut and Ugledar.
"They are dropping [chemical weapons] from drones on the locations of our forces," the DPR head confirmed.
A video published by Ukrainian military apparently shows them preparing to use #chemicalweapons, possibly #phosgene, prohibited by @UN CWC, against Russian military. Earlier, Yan Gagin, a Pushilin advisor, said as quoted by Russian media that the Ukrainian side was using chemical agents and that the chemicals were causing acute dizziness, nausea, and vomiting among soldiers.
Gagin affirmed that the Ukrainian side has been deploying chemical weapons for some time, with attacks taking place "along the entire front line as substances producing nausea, choking, and coughing," with the chemicals being "sprayed from special containers fitted on drones."
In addition to fears about chemical weapons being used against Russian soldiers, Moscow has often expressed concern about Ukraine using these weapons in provocations on important infrastructure and civilians in order to accuse Russia of war crimes.
Along with chemical weapons, the Russian military has routinely briefed policymakers, the public, and the international community on extensive pathogen research and bioweapons projects in Ukraine that are funded and controlled by the US.
It is noteworthy that the Pentagon has repeatedly stressed that the US has no indication that Russia intends to use a nuclear weapon in the Ukraine war.
In early October, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said no evidence in sight suggests Russia's intention to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
