Russian forces carried out a precision attack on a temporary deployment of foreign mercenaries in the city of Zaporozhye, neutralizing over 160 mercenaries, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday.

"On the Zaporozhye direction the Russian Air Force conducted a precise strike on a point of temporary dislocation in the city of Zaporozhye, Over 160 fighters were neutralized," the Ministry stated.

At the same time, Ukraine, according to the Defense Ministry, continues provocations to produce a man-made disaster at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant despite the presence of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission by shooting missiles at the power plant.

Russia eliminates over 220 Ukrainian troops in Kharkov

In the same context, Russian troops effectively repelled all attacks in the Kharkov region's Kupyansk battle direction, killing over 220 Ukrainian fighters, according to the Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday.

"The enemy, using the forces of two reinforced battalions in Kupyansk direction, attempted an offensive toward the villages of Pershotravneve and Yahidne in the Kharkiv region. All attacks of the Ukrainian troops were successfully repelled by the Russian army. Over 100 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks, five infantry fighting vehicles and four cars were destroyed," the Ministry said.

Another 110 Ukrainian militaries were also eliminated in the Petropavlivka town, according to the statement.

The Russian forces also destroyed around 30 Ukrainian fighters, three infantry fighting vehicles, and five pickup trucks in the Krasnyi Lyman direction.
