Russia MoD unveils tally of 65th day in Ukraine
Russian air defense systems have repelled an attack by a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile launched at the Izyum city in the Kharkov region.
The Russian Ministry of Defense Spokesperson, Igor Konashenkov, announced, on Thursday, that Russian air defense systems repelled an attack by a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile launched at the Izyum city in Kharkov region.
Konashenkov told reporters, "This morning, air defense systems repelled an attack by a Ukrainian ballistic missile Tochka-U on the residential areas of the city of Izyum in the Kharkov region."
According to the Spokesperson, the target goal was the city hospital, where Russian physicians help the locals.
During the press briefing, he announced that four Ukrainian military facilities were bombed with high-precision air missiles, and two depots of missiles, artillery, and other ammunition were destroyed in Parvenkovo and Ivanovka regions.
Konashenkov added that Russian air forces struck 67 military facilities in Ukraine, including six command centers, two secret stationing points, and large caches of missiles, artillery, and fuel in the towns of Preobrazhenka and Orekhova, in addition to 55 stationing points of enemy forces and military equipment.
Yesterday, Konashenkov announced that Russia's air force launched raids on 59 Ukrainian facilities, which resulted in the deaths of over 120 Ukrainian soldiers.
