Russian FM, Iranian diplomat condemn US behavior towards JCPOA
The two parties categorically condemned the US' behavior at the IAEA Board of Governors on the anti-Iranian resolution.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov and Iranian Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, strongly and categorically condemned the US' behavior at the IAEA Board of Governors on the anti-Iranian resolution, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"The focus was on the events taking place at the regular session of the IAEA Board of Governors in Vienna. The parties categorically condemned the destructive actions of the United States and its allies from among the members of the Board, who initiated the voting and spoke in favor of the adoption of an anti-Iranian resolution, which has a pronounced politicized bias. Jalali thanked Russia for its principled position against this document," the ministry said in a statement.
The foreign ministry said that diplomats exchanged perspectives regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program, while also stressing on the vitality of restoring it early based on the configuration that was agreed upon - a configuration that is part of the UN Security Council resolution.

Iran, after the resolution, accelerated the production and installation of advanced centrifuges used for enriching uranium. Tehran also informed the IAEA that it intends to disconnect 27 surveillance cameras from its nuclear facilities.
However, despite the IAEA resolution, chances for the revival of the JCPOA still exist, according to Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, on Friday.
Iran IAEA envoy denounces IAEA adoption of anti-Iran resolution
Iran's delegate to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mohammad Reza Ghaebi, strongly condemned on Wednesday the decision made by the agency's Board of Governors to adopt the resolution drafted by the US and the E3 that demands more "transparency and cooperation" from Iran.
The IAEA adopted the US-E3-sponsored resolution earlier today, criticizing Iran for "not cooperating".
Iran's delegation said that it will pursue the appropriate measures in response, noting that Iran has the right to reconsider its policy and behavior towards the agency, stressing that this resolution adopted by the IAEA is a heavy blow to the agency's credibility.
Ghaebi asserted that this resolution only serves unjust political goals by some of the members and that the allegations present in the Director-General's report on the locations in question in Iran are based on lies propagated by "Israel".
To call on Iran to cooperate after this resolution, Ghaebi said, is a desperate and meaningless step. He further warned that this resolution does not encourage Iran to enhance its cooperation with it.
