Russian Kinzhal missile destroys US Patriot system in Kiev: MoD
The Russian Defense Ministry says Russian air defense systems have intercepted seven Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles over the past day.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed on Tuesday that the Russian Kinzhal hypersonic missile destroyed a Patriot air defense system in Kiev.
"The high-precision strike of the Kinzhal hypersonic missile system in the city of Kiev hit a US-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile system," the Ministry announced in a statement.

According to the Ministry, Russian air defense systems have intercepted seven Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles over the past day.
In addition, it highlighted that Ukraine lost up to 215 soldiers in the Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours, adding that fighting in the western part of Bakhmut is ongoing.

On Thursday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the Biden administration is ready to fill Ukraine's requirements to launch a spring offensive against Russia.
Blinken underlined that his country was also determined to ensure the UK's supply of long-range missiles adds up to what Ukraine needs.
