Sanaa forces control strategic site on border with KSA
The Yemeni army and popular committees regain control of the strategic Al-Mahsam military camp in Hajjah governorate on the border with Saudi Arabia.
Al Mayadeen correspondent in Sanaa reported that the Yemeni army forces and the popular committees liberated the strategic Al-Muhsam camp, north of the Haradh district in Hajjah, which borders Saudi Arabia.
A Yemeni military source told Al Mayadeen correspondent that the restoration of control of the Al-Muhsam camp took place following violent battles with Hadi forces and the Saudi coalition, and after the coalition suffered many deaths and injuries in their ranks.
The Saudi coalition had admitted the killing of more than 30 members of Hadi's forces and the Saudi coalition in battles on the border with Saudi Arabia.
The French Press Agency quoted military sources as confirming that 32 were killed during these battles.
Military sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the army and the committees thwarted a military operation that the coalition had announced a few days ago in the Haradh border district with Jizan, Saudi Arabia.
