Al-Ezzi described Lenderking's statements as a "failed attempt" to hide the reality of Washington's position obstructing peace
Deputy Foreign Minister in the Sana'a government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, said that the statements of US envoy to Yemen, Timothy Lenderking, reflected the White House's insistence on continuing to mislead the US and international public opinion.
On Twitter, Al-Ezzi described Lenderking's statements as a "failed attempt" to hide the reality of Washington's peace-obstructing position.

He did not rule out the possibility that the statements were a result of deals concluded by the US with the countries of aggression in exchange for US President Joe Biden's retreat from his electoral promises regarding Yemen.
In a press statement on Friday, US envoy to Yemen Timothy Lenderking accused the Yemeni Ansar Allah Movement of obstructing peace and "exacerbating a humanitarian situation," claiming that the Movement has not shown a real commitment to the peace process.
Lenderking claimed that Ansar Allah's "attacks on Ma'rib" are risking the internal displacement of more than a million Yemenis.
It is worth noting that the Saudi-led coalition war on Yemen has claimed the lives of 233,000 people, and 80% of the 30 million population has become dependent on aid.
According to the UN, the war on Yemen is the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, as the country is witnessing massive displacement of its population, the destruction of its basic infrastructure, and the spread of epidemics and diseases.
