Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had stressed earlier Monday the necessity of undertaking diplomacy to solve the problems of the Yemeni people.
The Iranian foreign minister left Tehran on Monday morning, heading to Muscat to hold talks with officials in the Sultanate of Oman with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and discussing issues of common interest, including regional and international relations.
Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh said his country has always worked on being by the Yemeni people and vocalizing their causes, asserting that "the right way is giving up on the wrong way the coalition of aggression took on Yemen, respecting the will of the Yemeni people, and converting on a political solution."
