Sanaa: security forces arrest a UAE-backed terrorist cell
The security forces in Sanaa have discovered a terrorist cell in liberated areas that the UAE has backed with explosive materials.
Sanaa's Ministry of Interior announced that security forces arrested a crime cell employed by the United Arab Emirates, adding that the forces discovered explosive material sent from Abu Dhabi's intelligence to the cell.
The Ministry added that the UAE recruited the cell's members in liberated areas through one of its mercenaries in Maareb.
The spokesperson of the Ministry General Abed Al-Khaleq Al-Aajri said that the security forces deployed several teams in hopes of capturing all of the cell's members and eliminating them.
He added that security forces will follow up with the case until all those involved are turned over to be sentenced in court.
Al-Ajarai warned that any attempts to attack the Yemeni capital or the liberated governorates would not go unnoticed by Yemen's security forces.
Since the start of the war on Yemen more than eight years ago, the UAE has employed mercenaries from different countries to carry out its dirty work in Yemen. It had even recruited troops of the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan to fight on its behalf.
The Ansar Allah movement confirmed its readiness to carry out "land and sea operations if the enemy does not respond to the people's rightful demands."
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, stressed readiness for confrontation and the execution of land and sea operations if the Saudi-backed coalition does not respond to the people's rightful demands of ending the aggression and siege and the departure of occupation forces from the country.
