Sanaa: We will not stand idly by in the face of genocide in Gaza
The Yemeni Supreme Political Council affirms its steadfast support for the Palestinian people and the Islamic resistance movements.
The Supreme Political Council in Yemen affirmed in a statement today that "Sanaa is closely monitoring the situation and will not stand idly by in the face of the genocide against our people in Gaza."
The Supreme Political Council emphasized that "crossing the red lines necessitates Sanaa to fulfill its religious and moral duties in this regard."
The statement also added that "the genocidal massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people reveal the ugly and savage face of the United States, Israel, and Western countries."
The Council also reaffirmed the "steadfast and principled position of the Yemeni Republic in support of the Palestinian cause, the Palestinian people, and Islamic resistance movements."
It praised the millions of Yemeni people who demonstrated in the capital, Sanaa, and provincial capitals to support the Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa. The supreme council also praised the Arab and Islamic peoples who expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Council called on Arab and Islamic countries to unite and take the right stance against the heinous crimes committed by the occupation and to adopt a boycott strategy against American and Israeli products.

Earlier today, Yemeni Supreme Political Council member, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, announced that "the battle [Operation Al-Aqsa Flood] is ongoing" and that the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement remains "in constant coordination, as the leader of the revolution [Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi] said, and we stand by our word."
The Council member further explained that although "no Arab regime mobilized its resources to take the leading role in confronting Israel," it remained that "our dear people should not worry, as they are participating alongside the Resistance," stressing that "this is a great blessing to be on the side of the freedom fighters."
Moreover, al-Houthi underscored that Yemen perceived the US threats as "null" as he made reference to the successful deterrence equation established by Ansar Allah in Yemen by emphasizing that the "weapons they have used to bomb Yemen were US weapons and that US officers were also present in operation rooms."
